St Patrick’s Day North Myrtle Beach

One of the biggest celebrations is St Patrick’s Day North Myrtle Beach, SC. Every year, the city of NMB, hosts 30,000+ attendees to a day of fun on Main Street in Ocean Drive. The parade, which usually features over 100 entries, starts at 9am. The festival runs from 11am to 4pm with over 100 street vendors offering food, drinks, and specialty items. There are 3 stages set-up to provide live entertainment all afternoon.

Admission is FREE to Festival

The parade and festival is FREE to attend. Bring money to sample all the great eats and cold beverages offered in various locations scattered along Main Street in North Myrtle Beach. There will be vendors showing off their arts and crafts. The clubs along Main Street usually have food and drink carts on the street. Look for several non-profit organizations and learn what they do for the community. Many of these companies do a lot of great things for the area and are looking for donations and support.

2022 Date – St Patrick’s Day North Myrtle Beach

The rain or shine event hosted by the City of North Myrtle Beach officially takes place on March 12th, 2022.  Of course, there will be a lot of things to do on Friday night and  Saturday night for those looking to make a weekend celebration. If you are looking to continue the fun to the ACTUAL Day. There will be things to do in North Myrtle Beach on Thursday, March 17th. WPDE ABC 15 has been part of the parade many years. Take a look at the parade from North Myrtle Beach in 2013. Did you see Cecil Chandler from Carolina LIVE? There were a lot of great floats and entries in the parade. Many of thee companies enter every year.

Live Music on Main Street

This year look for LIVE Music and Entertainment on 3 stages on Main Street and just off Main. In addition, Deckerz Bar & Grill always has a big parking lot party with Bands on the Deck.

July 4th Vacations – North Myrtle Beach

Does your family come to North Myrtle Beach for July 4th, Independence Day Vacations?  It is probably the BIGGEST week for most of the businesses here in NMB. Some companies across the US take that week off and make it a mandatory vacation for their employees. It is right in the middle of the summer prime season. The demand for great beach vacation properties is high that week. July 4th, 2022 is on a Monday, so if you want to be in NMB for Fireworks, your vacation week would start on Saturday, July 2nd. We know a lot of families have already booked that week for their vacation time. If you are still considering a beach trip for Independence Day, you need to book your rental soon. The best homes and properties may already be taken that week.

Fireworks in Cherry Grove

Every year, they shoot fireworks off the Cherry Grove Pier. Oceanfront properties in Cherry Grove offer a front row seat to the show. Expect the display to start around 9:30pm and last about 30 minutes. If you are playing in the sand and ocean that day, be prepared to stay for one of the best fireworks shows in the Grand Strand.
